Major Focus

Create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.
Start-up supporting mechanism in HEIs.
Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of institutions on innovation achievements framework.
Establish function ecosystem for scouting ideas & pre-incubation of ideas.
Develop better cognitive ability among students.

Function of IIC

To conduct various Innovation, IPR and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by MIC in time bound fashion.
To Identify and reward innovations and share success stories.
To organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators.
To connect with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations.
To Create an Institution’s Innovation portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by institution’s faculty and students.
To Organize Hackathons, idea competition, mini-challenges etc. with the involvement of industries.

Role of Coordinators

Innovation Activity Coordinator:

Will work to promote innovation related activities on campus.

Star-up Activity Coordinator:

Will work to boost startup generation among students and related activities.

Internship Activity Coordinator:

Will work to arrange student internships in startup, so to expose them with startup ecosystem in India, real-life challenges in startup and their success stories .

IPR Activity Coordinator:

To promote awareness about IPRs and conduct relate activities.

Social Media Coordinator

To update and upload all the activities of IIC on college Facebook. To write news and publish it.

Internship

Aim:
To help students gain hands-on professional work experience prior to their graduation.

Objectives

To provide students possible opportunities to learn, understand and sharpen the real-time technical, managerial and life skills required at the job.
To instill qualities such as confidence, maturity, responsibility, and social skills necessary for personal and professional growth.
To familiarize students to the business environment, which cannot be simulated in the classroom; thus creating competent professionals for the industry.
To expose students to state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and professional practices in their respective trades.
To help students develop their own job search tools, networking capacities, and interview skills.
To expose them for the current technological developments relevant to the subject area of training.
To create conditions conducive to quest for knowledge and its applicability on the job.
